Summer Fun Week

Our Summer Fun Week is now open for bookings.

This will take place as usual at Barnham Community Hall from 2nd to 6th August - see details on the displayed flyer.

Always a fabulous fun week, Summer Fun is suitable for all. With a theatrical theme it is aimed at all children whether or not they do any dance or drama currently.

Workshops this year include : Games, drama, singing, sign language, face painting, design/art and craft, zumba and dance. Children do not have to attend all week - they can attend for separate days if they wish.

Great value at £25 per day.

The Beat Goes On...

 We were very grateful to be able to perform our showcase “You Can’t Stop the Beat“ in May. Due to Covid restrictions all learning and rehearsing was done via Zoom with one rehearsal in person to pull it all together! The children amazed us all with their commitment to learning and rehearsing like this and their performances were fantastic.

James is back in town!

An opportunity not to be missed. On Thursday February, James will be hosting a workshop featuring material from two smash-hit West End Show shows he has performed in ~ Matilda and Mamma Mia.

The year ahead - here's to 2021!!

We were so thankful to be able to perform our Christmas show. Thank you to all parents and friends who supported us.

Joseph has now become a victim of our difficult times and our show has sadly been cancelled.

Once we are allowed to meet again we will be doing a series of fortnightly ‘stand alone’ workshops - some with guest tutors with a view to some sort of showcase around May time . For more info email knightstarproductions2014@gmail.com

Joseph in Quarantine

Just an update for everyone. 

Sadly we will now not be performing Joseph at Christmas - we have decided to postpone it until Easter weekend next year. 

In the meantime we hope to perform a Christmas Show of some sort on 12th and 13th December at our usual venue in Barnham. We will start rehearsing for this in September - in a Covid safe environment. All children age 5 upwards welcome to perform in this.

We are now able to let you all know that our production of Joseph will be performed in our usual Christmas Show slot - which this year will be Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December. Same place, same cast (so don’t forget what you’ve learnt so far !!!) - however we will be offering the opportunity for new cast members to join as ensemble if you wish to.

Further detailed information about the show, rehearsals and ticket arrangements in due course but please put those dates in your diaries.

with your order - please remember to state clearly how many, which performance, whether full price or concessions (OAP or child up to 16). Once acknowledged you will be requested to pay on line (preferred), or when you pick them up at the next rehearsal. This can now be done by any debit or credit card using our new card system. Cash or cheques can still be used to pay but is our least preferred system so if at all possible please pay in on line or with your card at rehearsals.

You must pay for tickets before you will be able to pick them up.

Tickets will be ready for picking up and also on sale at every rehearsal from
now.

Please only use the ticket email address for orders not our Knightstar email address or the Facebook page.

Please get your orders in as soon as possible as we will sell out.
Seating is unreserved.

The Sights and Sounds of the Musicals

A huge ‘WELL DONE’ to our Knightstar cast in The Sound of Musicals, staged by BROS at the Alexandra Theatre this week. It was an amazing experience for them. They did us proud and of course they made Jackie cry !!!!

INFORMATION RE JOSEPH 2020.

Auditions - Sunday 12th January 10am - 1pm
Main Cast - school year 3 and upwards.

Rehearsals - Thursdays 5.30- 8.30pm : Jan 23rd, Feb 6th and 20th, March 5th and 19th, April 2nd, 16th and 30th.

Sundays 2pm - 6pm (possibly sometimes from 12 or 1 if needed): Jan 26th, Feb 23rd, March 22nd, April 19th.

Show weekend : Fri 1st, Sat 2nd, Sun 3rd May.

Everyone - chorus and parts - needs to audition. Anyone wishing to have a main part MUST be available for ALL Sunday rehearsals.

Anyone wishing to audition MUST be able to attend : Thursday 30th April, Fri 1st, Sat 2nd and Sun 3rd May.
Tinies Cast age 4+ who will be in one musical number in each act of the show. Audition and rehearsal dates to follow soon.

After the stunning performances enjoyed at our Christmas Show, Mistletoe and Wine, we are looking forward to the next production - Peter Pan. Make a note of these dates - the clock is ticking!!
