Seussical ~ rehearsals are under way

A great start to our rehearsal schedule for Seussical the Musical, what a lively, enthusiastic cast. Jackie says, "Well done tonight everyone -great first rehearsal. See you next week (there is no half term in Seussical world!!) wearing your t-shirt, with your book and having done your 'homework'!! Looking forward to our next rehearsal - it's gonna be a fab show!!"

The presentation evening for our next show is this Thursday 21st January, 7pm at Arabesque School, Chichester - everyone welcome.

Anyone aged 7 upwards welcome to audition for this fun, lively, colourful show based on the Dr Seuss stories.

Auditions will be held on Saturday 6th Feb from 2.30pm at Arabesque School. The show will be Sat 25th and Sun 26th June.

Sparkle and Shine

We have had a very busy and enjoyable few months with our Summer School where we had workshops in Stage Combat, Make Up, and Mime - to name but a few, performing at The Country Fair in Hotham Park and again at a Fundraising Funday at Funtington School - for photos of some of these events please see our Gallery page.

We are now busy rehearsing for our Christmas Show - 'Sparkle and Shine' being performed in Felpham Memorial Hall on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th December - a lovely informal Christmas afternoon/evening of songs, poems, dances to get you in the Christmas spirit - cabaret style seating with mulled wine and mince pies included.

Looking Ahead

STOP PRESS : we will be running again this year our very popular Summer School.  17th to 21st August, 9.30 to 4.30 each day, for 8 to 16 year olds at Arabesque School, Chichester. We have fantastic tutors in dance, singing, acting, stage make up, mime, and design, and this year we will be going on a tour of the Festival Theatre!! Total cost for the whole week £165 ( (£150 for siblings) - however, book early and save money: places booked and £50 deposit paid by end March will be £140 (£125 siblings), end April £150 (£135 siblings), end May £155 (£140 siblings) end June £160 (£145 siblings). Places limited so dont miss out, bookings being taken now!!

ALSO, new this year we are running a Summer School in the mornings only for 4 to 7 year olds. Games/drama/ craft around a different theatrical theme each day. 9.30 to 12.00. £75 for the week (£65 for siblings). Again discounts for early bookings; places booked and deposit of £25 paid by end March will be £60 (siblings £55), end April £65 (siblings £60), end May £70 (siblings £65) . Places limited, bookings being taken now!!

Presentation Evening

We will be holding a presentation/information evening for our next show on Thursday 8th January at 7.30pm at Arabesque School, Quarry Lane, Chichester. All welcome. We are looking for singers and dancers, adults and children from age 8. Please come along to find out what is involved and if you are new to us to do an audition.

Next Year - Easter Show

STOP PRESS- details of our show next year can now be announced! We will be doing a compilation show on Fri 3rd and Sat 4th April (Easter weekend) in the Alexandra Theatre. Lots for ALL ages adults and children (8 and above) to do - singing and dancing. We have a great MD and will have a live band on stage. All info and audition details will be given out at our Information evening on Thursday 8th January.
